Structural Waterproofing

Structural waterproofing for green roofs, roof gardens, podiums and roadways

Roof Gardens - An example
Roof gardens can always be an attractive feature in a building, often associated with balconies and walkways in the roof areas. These must be waterproofed with materials that will not be attacked or corroded by close contact with soils used in the garden area, or by roots of the plants in the soil. Mastic asphalt provides the best solution for these garden features. Not a new idea of course, the Hanging Gardens of Babylon were reportedly waterproofed with a bituminous substance, as was the Temple of the Moon God, the birthplace of Abraham.

Rock Asphalte's Flexiphalte Structural Waterproofing Systems are the perfect waterproofing/insulating solution for these critical areas and are guaranteed for the designed life of the substrate upon which they are laid.
